Animal Activist

An avid animal lover and activist, Chanel shares her home with two rescues; a cat named Ruby Tuesday and a Border Collie named Lucky, along with a revolving door of animals she fosters, while searching for their forever homes.

A portion of the proceeds, from her swimsuit calendars to her numerous autograph appearances, go to support animal charities each year. She is a strong believer in building a "no-kill nation one stray at a time" and involved in the care of stray cats in her neighborhood, as well as TNR throughout the Los Angeles area.

She is an advocate for Best Friends Animal Society and Stray Cat alliance, among others. Chanel is very passionate about the protection and preservation of all animals. She ends every media interview with a plea for people to spay/neuter their pets and consider adoption from a local shelter or rescue.
